Foundational Projects

  • The truth is to be found in the archives

    2017 - 2021

The 47-min film follows the formative journey of art historian Dr. Cezara Mucenic, focusing on her PhD obtained under “special” conditions during the communist period of the 1970s–80s, and her work as an expert in historical monuments. At its core, the film tells the story behind a long-term project: the digitisation of documentary files from the National Archives in Bucharest [1830–1960], originally collected and organised by Dr. Mucenic as part of her PhD research.

  • Mapping Identity and Urban Specificity in Pigalle: Historical and Socio-Political Perspectives

    2016

A multidisciplinary research project exploring the Pigalle neighborhood in Paris, focusing on the identification of local specificities and identitary traces. By examining historical layers, urban transformations, and socio-political dynamics, the study highlights fractures and continuities in the evolution of the area’s urban fabric.

  • The Mourning Houses

    2006 - 2010

An inventory of degraded architectural heritage in Bucharest, combined with awareness-raising activities highlighting the importance of preserving the city’s built environment. Developed within the framework of Rhabillage Association.
